This coming Monday, June 27 marks an important occasion relative to all of us...it will be one year to the day that I first put up my home server and lanunched what is now the 9th ranked TFC server in the United States and the 12th ranked TFC server in the entire world. 
It has been a tremendous run for us and I'm glad to share this special occasion with everyone here in our community. I never imagined that putting up a part-time server to play with some friends would take on the life that it has for thousands of players. To this day, I'm truly shocked at what we've done here. I'd especially like to thank my admins who have been there for me through the drama and turmoil, ever changing IP's and the never ending battle to find a mix of mods and plug-ins that the majority of us could enjoy.
I'd also like to thank those of you that showed your fun side and your friendly side and your sense of wanting to belong to our community...the people who wear (and will soon wear) our tag...-[CfH]-. This server and our forums would be nothing without the loyalty and support you have shown. I'm truly thankful to be involved with this effort that brings together this many people to enjoy a simple game in a fun and friendly way.
Beginning Sunday morning and running through our league teams match on Tuesday...the server will be put in birthday mode with those lovely prezzies as nades, they'll be hook maps galore and I'm even going to enable the "roll-the-dice" plug-in for old times sake. Monster mod will also be enabled for at least one map...maybe two. If you've never seen this before, you're in for a real treat. Add the sounds, fireworks, radios, chickens and our usual style of lame play to the mix and what do you get? Well, you get Chips' Fun House. 
In addition, I'll be putting up my home server (yes, the one that started it all) for most of the same time period running the TFCTech mod. This server will also be in birthday mode with the hook enabled on most maps. Many loved the TFCTech mod, but it'll be too much running this with all the other plans for the main server. The rotation will most like be all CTF maps...as this mod can be a real fun killer with I/D maps. And we don't want to kill the fun around here...do we.

Birthday mode is turned on with the server config file...we use a different config file for the matches.
No prezzies during the matches...  |
