Yes, you and serveral others have been kind enough to donate to the fun house. Sooner or later, we're gonna have to start paying Chaos' buddy for our server. We're lucky he hasn't asked for anything yet. I told him I wouldn't like to until some of the lag spike issues are taken care of.
The server doesn't cost us yet, but the hosting of the maps and mods for the server with my provider, the web site and forums...DO have to be paid for. I wish I got paid even minimum wage for the time I put in on all that's required.  |

Ugh....I didnt mean for it to be taken this seriously  man whats gonna happen when TFC makes it to the Source engine and Chips has to upgrade...better be some folks forkin over da moolah then I guess huh? Oh well theres always a street corner to stand on I suppose...  |

| Well...I can host CS:Source, HL2DM and HL2CTF servers on my home connection right now on the source engine. We'll just go back to the way it was when this all started...and wait till my cable company busts me again. |

It's minimal now...about 12 bucks a month. And my time of course, but I don't ask anything for that. It will be anywhere from $40 to $60 when we get around to having to pay for a server. Our free ride here can't last forever. There are some hosts that charge up to $140 per month...but that includes web hosting, teamspeak server and other frills.
It isn't now...but can soon become very pricey. I have a couple of hundred in donations to offset some of that when it happens. |
