Sorry Angry but I'm not coming on and banning someone without a reason first, no matter who tells me to do it. While I trust your judgement I need to know what happened first.

Edit: Duk posted the same time I did, that still doesn't really explain exactly what happened, I'll keep an eye out to see if he comes back on the server but for now just have to wait for Chips to add the Steam ID to the banlist.

Just vulgar language beyond what is acceptable, multiple offenses after polite requests to knock it off and total disrepect for people who were very cool to him (though his behavior didn't deserve half the respect he got) If Chips or any other admin were there, he would have been banned. Anyone else who was there will back me up - no doubt.

Angry this isn't pertaining just to you, but just a reminder that when posting these kinds of threads try to include the time and map that this took place on, makes checking logs much easier.

Also when asking someone to stop doing something, try to include typed warnings and not just warnings over the mic, that way we can see the conversation going on as you can't see what was said over mics in the logs (again I'm not aiming this at you Angry, just a general post).

Also try to put these types of threads in the Bans & Abuse forum for quicker results. I don't know about other admins but if I'm just checking the forums I'm more likely to check posts there faster than in the General Discussion thread were all the bullcrapping goes Wink

Another way to get an admin faster would be to pop into the IRC channel and see if one is there. I normally check that much more frequently than I check the forums and I'm usually there if I'm not already in TFC. It took me about 20 minutes after your post to find out about it, and thats only because someone pointed it out on IRC.

Again just some tips when trying to post this kind of information, this isn't targeted at any individual, I'm just bored and have nothing better to do with my time Razz

I don't know if he used voice comm or not...but there was plenty in the server logs to warrant a ban. He wasn't being at all kind to our new friend Liz. He's dust. Bad Idea
