| This is just a suggestion to those that have the fireworks code, do not abuse it. We had about 7 people on the server tonight around 11 on Casbah when some moron blue engie decided to start laying about 100 fireworks around himself. Whoever it was is lucky the server crashed before I could figure out who it was. I'm just warning everyone that the next person I see abusing the fireworks so much is getting the boot. I don't enjoy a server being emptied because some idiot can't use the fireworks right. |

yeah.. remember guys.. fireworks had been turned off for awhile due to this kinda behavior..  it would be nicve to have it around for awhile!
and remember guys.. we can always just turn em off too. RAWR!!!  |

Hiroki - was the blue engie on casbah at the start of the map.
L 04/14/2005 - 22:28:05: "Hiroki<3042><STEAM_0:1:1942325><Blue>" changed role to "Engineer"
20 minutes later, [JL] Wonder Woman ^Diana changed to engie on blue minutes before the log file ends abruptly.
L 04/14/2005 - 22:48:32: "[JL] Wonder Woman ^Diana<2965><STEAM_0:1:4090863><Blue>" changed role to "Engineer"
Both were blue engies at the time of the crash.
Who the hell is Hiroki? I've seen the other player, but neither was ever given the code for that. How did either one of them get our code? Any ideas?

TBH it was never really set as to who should have the code and who shouldnt. (At least not that I know of..) Once it got released again it spread out fairly wide amongst the players.  Someone must have told them what it was w/ out knowing they shouldnt have?
So to clarify- who SHOULD have the code? CfH only? |

The code was given out selectivly to those I thought wouldn't abuse it. I know there was a time when Blade used the same code on his server. This was a while ago as he has changed it since. I really don't know how many got it through him...or if anyone else that had it gave it to others.
Luckily, we've had little to no trouble with it. Well, except for TD dropping them on me in spec on a fairly regular basis.
Any more problems with it...I'll just have to change the code again. That would be a shame.  |

Sounds like SoldierBoy just nailed down the culprit... 
Plz...when one of the admins sees this player next...remind them that abusing them will ruin it for everybody, and possibly subject the offender to a kick or ban. |
