I knew(or atleast guessed) that Fox meant a real plane, he's got pics of him flying. He's pretty bad-ass. |

If you don't watch "Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia", you are a bad person.
Resolve this situation by tuning into FX Thursday's at 10pm EST. |

Glad to see you're still with us mate.
The flute is incredibly hard to play. I played some sax when I was younger, but that didn't pan out.
33 years however since I started playing guitar. |
Trumpet is better. |

Flute requires like the most breath of all the instruments, except maybe the tuba. Breathing doesn't come all that easy to everyone, especially when smoking is involved. |

Actually DA, that's not quite true, it's an understandable mistake to make though. I know you'd think that since flute has the least resistance of any instrument, that it would require the most amount of air, but you're mistaken in thinking so. Because of how the embouchure for flute works, you're not blowing out all the air possible, you're acually closing your mouth making a lot of resistance, making you use less air.
A lot of beggining flute players can't quite get the embouchure at first, so they get light headed, and dizzy a lot, which is where I think this myth comes from.
And just to let you know, I'm not 100% sure about all of this, this is mostly my observations on the embouchure they use, and the fact that any brass instrument is louder than a flute, and my friend who is a really good flute player never complains about light headedness, and I've felt it a lot playing bass trombone in a big band, and once in a concert band(Alfred Reed ftw) |

Lol @ the army. Just lol. I don't put anyone who is in the army on a pedastal, that's their decision to do what they want, we all make sacrifices, you aren't the only ones. You aren't better than anyone else because you are in the army. LOL. |
