Although CfH hasn't been populated (except by bots) for awhile, and was used little more than for leagues, I feel like with it gone there's just nothing left in TFC anymore. If you had asked me what is the defining point of TFC, I wouldn't have said concs, or bhoping, or all the modifications, or the maps... I would have replied the communities and without this community in TFC it seems like it's officially dead. Crying or Very sad

That being said, it would be nice if the CfH community could find a new home, maybe less permanent, so that we could remain traveling the gaming interwebz like cyber nomads.

TFC isnt dead...pubs are dying due to new games, but tfc leagues and pickups are still goin on

It's a real shame CFH will stop running TFC due to the games' general player decline, but I'd like to say, thank you very much for the outstanding gaming experience you guys (especially Chips) have offered. I've REALLY enjoyed the time spent playing with you lot -- even when I sayed up til 6AM to do that Very Happy

What time are people planning on showing up for this, I'm going to try my best to come. Someone should call me or something if I don't, cause I have some people coming into town this weekend and it's gonna get crazy for a few days.

i play it usually 1/2 days every week with a friend...
and when we play, there are often other players who play with us. not just bots!
(and from time to time crazy admins who kick the bots...)

Holy S**t!
I just noticed this thread now, and I'm shocked.
But I'm proud I am/was apart of such a great community and server.
I still remember I started playing TFC by accident, during the beginning days of Steam when I was a avid CS player. One day I realized I had more then one game in the list, so I tried out Ricochet, HL1, Blushift, and they were all horrible.
Then I luckily stumbled on TFC, and this wonderful place. At that time I was around 13 years old. The time in between that and now was just great history Very Happy

Now I laugh at myself looking at my old forum posts, because I sound like your typical 13-15 year old annoying gamer, but you guys were still cool and we still all had fun. Its funny how I respect you guys even though we never met in RL Razz

, but I practically grew up on these forums and the server. So for that I thank you Chips for all the fun, and the whole community which have enjoyed playing with me. I too hope we all can stay in touch and play some more from time to time, so I can pwn you guys in the face and get some mean ass airshots and make a .avi about how I pwn -[CfH]-

LOL OGABS !!!!! God forbid you play halfway serious, you get banned. They dont allow anyone, and I do mean anyone, with any skills to play there.

GG Chips. I know it took a lot more of your personnel time than many folks probably realize to get this community going and growing over the years.

It has been great. The -[CfH]- culture is the best I've seen in an online group. Fun, in-your-face, yet respectful and helpful at the same time.
