I've given our server host the last bucks I had...it will only cover us through August...six more weeks. I doubt we'll be running the server past that. Neutral

I'd give money if I actually had money, but as it stands I don't have any. Sad

well the whole place isnt done...the main server, yes. Forums are still ok and we still have 3 active league teams.

i've been saving up for a new computer, maybe i can convert this box to a server? the only issue is my bandwidth will only let me carry 15 people, with no plugins

I'm expecting a settlement in September and would be Mr. Happy to donate a few months of hosting. I've been down hard financially for the last two and a half years and basically freeloading since my last donation in 05 or 06. Hope we make it that long.

guys...i wouldn't waste ur money on paying for main. I mean i think its great that ya wanna help, i used to help in the past, but really...no one plays at all on there. I mean there's like maybe 1 or possibly 2 nights a week where i see an ok amount of people on there and thats it. I'd hate to see it end also, but things can't last forever.

If ya feel like, well CfH is the only place i play at and now wtf am i gonna do...well trust me, there's still a few good servers out there. I'm not taking anything away from ours, but like chips has said already, it's done.

Hell, I'm sure we could go back to the good ol' days of Chips putting up his home server up for a few days every now and then, and that sort of thing.

Well, CC had said he's put up a couple of months...so we'll make it into the fall as I had said before. I'll put up the bread for the server hosting due next month. That will keep the forums around for another year. Although, it hasn't been all that active around here either.

Well, the forums have been pretty dead, even the stuff concerning the teams, although we do get some posts about new things in the leagues that people without mIRC can see. Although, if things continue on the path their on now, there won't be any leagues for us to play in, in a year Sad

But, you never know, if it comes down to it, the forums are a lot cheaper to keep up than the server, right? So it'd be easier for us to keep up, maybe like, the leaders of the teams can pitch in? I don't know.

Also, I find it kind of amusing that we're talking about the server and the forums, and their sad demise... in Spam Central Razz
