one of the few comedic geniuses of our time. may he rest in peace... even though we all know he's giving Jesus crap about not letting him say everything he wanted to say lol. |

And you should post it.
I saw this yesterday on our forums and tried several times to write something...but I kept coming up blank. Not cause I had nothing to say...but, that I had so much I wanted to say.
This guy furthered the right to speak your mind as others before him in the world of comedy...ie Lenny Bruce, the original shock comic. Not only was he extremely funny, his social commentaries in his material gave us all something to think about. He didn't believe in god or organized government, and he laid out compelling reasons why.
He told it like it was...the way others were afraid to...the way others did not dare. This guy was literally one of my heroes in life. He fought the good fight...and was usually the winner.
RIP ole boy. |

He was a very wise man, not just because he had great knowledge, but because he had the ability to punch society in the gut, slap it on the back, and kick em in the funny bone--all at the same time.
RIP |

So much more then a comedian, his work spawned a friggin' Supreme Court case that defined the limits of free speech in public broadcast media.

Refusing to back down, he was also arrested for using his "seven words" in concert. |
