They absolutely could contend in the pac 10, dunno about ACC, but all the other smaller conferences definately. There aren't THAT many good teams in the pac 10. Oregon always looks good but doesn't go that far, cal sucks every year regardless, arizona is always fairly solid but they didn't have lute olson as their coach this year, I'd wait for him to come back and then see what is what. UCLA is strong every year, and USC alwas does fairly well but doesn't do that well in the tourney. Washington also didn't look that great, although they made it aways. Stanford always looks good for the most part, but after Montgomery left it hasn't been the same imo. |

This year's Pac-10? Everyone but OSU and UW was good enough to make tournament. Cal could have gone either way and ASU should have made the big dance. |

oregon state would have won the tournament if they were in it. only team with enough guts to trash talk the other team during their practice enough to get a technical foul before the game even starts, and all this during like a 10 game losing streak |

yeah once again memphis lacks the good inside game and is made up by excellent guards. i know ab, you got to take memphis record with a grain of salt because they only had a few teams of true competition and a bunch of fluff. if memphis was shooting its usual crappy freethrow percentage i would go with ucla winning easily, but with the way memphis has been playing in this tourney so far, im gonna have to go with memphis by a close margin. and yeah ive thought tyler was overhyped all year but thats kinda what you get. im really not worried about the east and midwest teams, either memphis or ucla will take this tourney imo unless one of them just absolutely tanks or something. |

Trust me, I've been following both cal football and basketball for many years, and if there's one thing i've learned, never, not even for a second, have faith in cal, because they will always let you down, always. |
