i have been having sound trouble for a while, first off was i couldn't find out which sound driver to install, then my headset didn't work, well i found that out, i did this all mainly for stereo mix and for my headset, but i finally found the driver, and stereo mix still isn't there
is there anyway anyone can find out how i can get stereo mix? my soundcard thing is SigmaTel Audio... |

Go back to XP...problem solved.
Seriously, this is the only reason I won't upgrade. I have some quality, old gear that I KNOW won't work with Vista. Driver support all this time since release is still horrible for legacy devices.
I hope someone can post something more helpful. |

haha, seriously
if vista worked as well as XP, or even better, with driver support and all that, i would suggest going to it, my only problem with vista is sound, but i think that's because this computer was "made" for vista =)
although going back to XP is probably the best solution, i'll probably just stick with vista, stereo mix doesn't really matter, and in a future patch, i'm sure all this will be fixed heh |
