Tom Brady is definitely not overrated. He's extremely good. And they've only got better this offseason. I expect them to go to Conference Champs or Superbowl this year.

Respectfully, I think you're way off point with most of this. I don't think Minnesota has a chance at anything (consider it a great season if they make wild card).

49ers all depend on Alex Smith...everybody else is solid, QB is the only thing up in the air.

Cardinals will be like the Lions a few years ago, really fun to watch but won't win much. Not enough veteran leadership, it's gonna be more like the Harlem Globetrotters out there.

Rams will probably hover a little above .500. Isaac Bruce is getting older, as is Holt...their offense isn't even a shadow of what it used to be. Bulger is good, but he's not good enough to carry a team. I think he has EXTREMELY good luck, with a good head on his shoulders which is why he has been successful.

Colts will still dominate, but I'm HOPING the Patriots fall flat on their bastard faces...I HATE THEM. Tom Brady is the most overrated QB of all time.

Worst teams this year: Raiders and Falcons.

Sleeper favorite: Saints.

Player in a shitty position that we will all root for: Vince Young, and whatever 3rd string QB the Falcons have, hahaha.

Redskins can go either way, I hope they can be successful again so the legendary coaching career is not tainted.

I don't know, just a bunch of random thoughts...

Ur right about the 49ers, but I think Smith w/ do aight, and Gore running the ball he did last year will take alot of pressure off him.

Lions are gonna be the most fun to watch on O. However i do love watching Peyton Manning dissect Ds and run the O.

Rams will go 7-9. They still have no D, Bulger imo is the most underrated QB in football. Holt is getting older every year, but hes still top 5 WRs in NFL.

Colts are the defending champs so they're the team to beat like always. As for Brady being overrated, i respectfully have to say that thats insane. He's the 2nd best QB in football behind Manning. He has never had any big star WRs to throw too and yet his stats are always up there and he does have 3 rings. Given hes in a awsome system, it still takes a hell of a QB to do what hes been doing w/ the Pats, a good analogy is Emmitt w/ that awsome Dallas o-line he ran behind all those yrs.

Worst teams...i agree but i wanna throw the giants in there too lol.

Sleeper: Saints arent one cause of the awsome season they had last year, my sleeper is the Vikings.

Guys in the crap positions, yeah Young, Leinart, and Russell...poor young awsomely talented QBs lol.

And the Redskins, alot of people are thinking they're gonna be like 8-8 to 10-6 team...i just dont see it, so if Jarrett or someone can explain that to me i'd luv to hear it.

Dallas vs Colts in SB.

Dallas won't make SB. Get over it.

Colts are still strong, but I just keep having a picture of the Pats going this year and it's gotta be because of the revamped offense with Stallworth and Moss. Plus the addition of Adalius Thomas and Asante Samuel extending his contract. Pats just seem to unbeatable to me.

As for the Redskins. I can see them going .500, but 10-6? I dunno. Harrington won't replace Vick, no way. But can he bring them to .500? It's possible.

The 49ers all depend on their D and how well Smith plays. They have all the right pieces for O except the QB situation is always give or take. The Rams, imo, have actually improved their D this year. It still isn't no Chicago Bears, but it's greatly improved imo. Don't take my words out of context though. They will be 3rd in the division with the Hawks winning it and 49ers 2nd.

Broncos D will not be #1. Their secondary might be, but their D line isn't good enough.

Rex Grossman will never improve, and Romo will just keep getting worse.

Patriots are going to destroy the AFC this year, they got the BEST offseason accusations out of any team in my opinion.

Titans O is going to decline, not because of the "Madden Curse" but because Vince lost most of his good receivers.

I expect to see the Saints as another powerhouse this year, as with the Colts.

And I don't see how you can say that the Bengals and Chargers will be broken up. The Chargers are a great team, with great players, their coach was just crappy in the playoffs. The Bengals just have too much off field trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if Goodell made a rule where players can't do a lot of things during the season.

The Hawks will win the division, but I'm not getting my hopes up for another Superbowl appearance just yet.

That's enough for now, I got work soon.

Broncos have a young d-line, but it's got a ton of talent. With an incredible secondary backing them up, I have no doubts they'll excel. Jim Bates as defensive coordinator is huge as well.

Patriots will most likely be incredible again, but I'm hoping they just fall on their faces. I still stand by my statement about Tom Brady. He has extremely good luck, he tosses balls up there and his receivers grab them. He has never had star receivers because everybody on the god damn field with them is a star so you can't tell. Granted, he's good. But he's nowhere near top 10 ever...he has had an incredible offensive line. He has all the time in the world. Ryan Leaf would have been successful with that line.

And what I'm saying about the Chargers/Bengals is they've had the same core group of guys for years now, if it doesn't start being more successful for both teams in this year or the next, the office is going to start making major changes, if free agency doesn't break them up itself.

As for the Cowboys, in the last 10 years they've always made great acquisitions, but they always miss expectations. Look at how much of a non-factor TO has been since joining them.

Looking forward to:
-watching the Saints
-lions and cardinals offense
-how peyton manning plays with the super bowl pressure off of him
-see if alex smith picks it up
-vince young
-the great secondaries this year across the league (broncos, eagles)

Also, anyone noticed the trend of linebackers declining? Only a few really standout LBs (urlacher, and uh...) seems a far cry from the days of butkus, LT, and up to ken norton jr. and junior seau, and then ray lewis and that era

First off a reminder that the fantasy league draft is set for tonight if this time is final. It's at 11 PM EST/8 PM PST. Also this league has an odd number of teams and can not start until we get one more team, if anyone else is going to join in the next couple of hours say so here because I probably can have a friend join in if we need an extra but I'd rather it go to someone here first.

Also I'm not sure if just no one saw it but no one has joined the pick'em league besides me and AB, I'll repost the info for that league and the regular one in another post.

As for the hype around the Redskins this year, they certain have the potential to be one of the top teams in the NFC this year, but I've heard that for the last couple years.

One big difference is there is no QB controversy this year at all, Jason Campbell is their QB for certain and has had a very good training camp and preseason and is said to be one of the better sleepers this year at QB.

Santana Moss is still great at WR and with Campbell's big arm should get a lot more chances at the deep ball, Randle El has had a good preseason and made an amazing catch last night.

Their TE Chris Cooley I think should get a lot more mention than he does as he is one of the best TE in the league right now, he actually led the team in receptions last year and and this is only his fourth year.

Only real question on offense is whether or not Clinton Portis will be ready to start next week as he hasn't played in any preseason games but has said he would have played if they were regular season games, however with how Ladell Betts playes last year while Portis was injured there isn't too many worries.

On the defensive side, the Redskins could have one of the best secondaries in the league this year if not one of the best overall defenses in the NFL.

Their signing of London Fletcher was a big boost to the linebackers and could do very well in the middle. Marcus Washington is still on the strong side and has been very good the last 3 years for them, going to the pro bowl in 2004 and having 106 tackles last year. The biggest key for the LBs could be Rocky McIntosh in his second year, he was caught out of position a lot in his rookie year but has made huge progress in understanding Gregg Williams defense and is always around the ball.

The amount of talent behind the linebackers is just as good. Shawn Springs although getting older can still take care of his receiver and Carlos Rogers should be much better in his third year. We also brought back Fred Smoot who has started for most of his career and is the third CB in our defense which gives us a lot of depth. We also singed veteran David Macklin as our fourth CB who has shown he can play still in preseason this year.

I think the safety tandem of LaRon Landry and Sean Taylor pretty much speaks for itself. Don't throw a ball high to a receiver deep over the middle against the Redskins, his helmet might end up in the third row.

A lot of people may think Campbell's play is the key to this team winning, but I actually believe the D line stepping up is the most important thing this year. Last year the running game just destroyed them and they have the exact same players starting this year, the only difference is last year almost everyone on the line was injured at some point. This year they are healthy and have done very good against the run in preseason when the starters have been in there.

Also you won't hear a lot about him but another important piece is our kicker Shaun Suisham. We haven't had a consistent kicker for a couple years at least and last year he came out of nowhere at the end of last year and went 8 of 9, including a 52 yard field goal.

So I hope that answers your question Falcon Razz . Although they do look pretty good, I still expect them to end up at like 4-12 just because they're the Redskins though.

I would comment on some of the other teams but my fingers are tired now, I'll also repost all the fantasy league info in a couple minutes so hopefully we can fill these leagues out.

Here is all the fantasy league info again:

Fantasy Football on Yahoo.com:

League ID: 174459
League Name: -[CfH]-Football
League PW: cfh
Current Draft Time: Tonight (8/31) @ 11:00 PM EST/8:00 PM PST

For this league we need an even number of teams to start the league, right now we have 17 teams. If anyone else wants to play and will sign up before we start tonight say so here. If I don't see a response in a couple hours or so I may be able to get a friend to join just to get us to even teams, he isn't around right now so I'm not completely sure but I want to leave it open to people here first. Also if anyone can make a list of who all the people are in the league it would be nice, some of the name I recognize (Seriously who would make a name as stupid as Romo for MVP) but most I don't. My team is GB Thunder by the way.

Football Pick'em League on Yahoo.com:

Name: CfH Pick'em
League ID #: 21977
Password: cfhpick

So far only me and AB signed up for this and I'm not sure why, remember picks can be made up until 5 minutes before game time so there is still plenty of time to sign up. Also I'm dropping the lowest score for each team during the year so if you miss the first week you can drop the 0 and not be hurt badly.

Come on everybody, me and Jar can't be the only ones!

And let's go Saints. I love the Colts to death but I am getting a new liking with the Saints.

Your thoughts on the Patriots and the defensive signal videotaping?
