Incorrect sir.
When you're old enough to grow one...you'll understand.
Tis not a beard...and...you do look much older than your first pic. I think he's just googling and posting someone elses pic. |

That is a pretty sweet tie, my firend actually has a silver tie tht kind of looks like that. My High School Jazz Band always just wore all black. It made things easy, but got kind of boring. Did you ever go to the Reno Jazz Festival? One year I forgot my black shoes and socks, so I bought a black Sharpie the day before we performed and went over all of the white, including the laces, on my black converse. Luckily my friend brought an extra pair of black socks. |

Nah, we never go to any jazz things. My high school jazz band is boring and only does stuff in our city. I have a very similar story to yours, heh. Our symphonic band was performing for our high school's graduation, and one of my buds went and wore tennis shoes and white socks with his tuxedo. I ended up letting him use my shoes, and I spent the whole time in socks. Since we were far away enough from the general audience, noone could see that I didn't have shoes on, heh. I should remind that kid to forget his shoes again next time, that was actually pretty comfortable.
Darn, Chips' old man wisdom is too much for me. Try to give me SOME credit, though. It really did take a long while to find a pic that has the same size and quality and moderately resembles me. |

Oh god, I bet the your feet didn't get nearly as sweaty with just socks. Let me tell you, I played in 4 High Scool graduations, and 2 college one's. The best differences, other than getting paid for the college one, is the music is more fun 'cause it's a quintet not a full band, and that we're in the shade. Although in High School we didn't have to sit through everything, after the speeches we started to bring everything back. |
