I swear the problem with English classes is the mentality of the teachers/professors. There's just something wrong with them that I can't shake off.
In my English class (high school), we are currently sewing book covers to make a book containing our poetry.
English class needs to stop being required once a person can read and write. |

From what I remember of my high school English class, that was only like 3 people. (At least at a level they should be able to read/write having been exposed to the language for ~18 years). There is no excuse for using the wrong they're/their/there or which/witch or were/where/wear/we're or it's/its or to/too or effect/affect et al. |
