I released this back in September and finally got around to posting it up here on Chips. (Forgive me Crying or Very sad ! I haven't visited these forums in a while)

=====================
gm_portal_challenge
=====================

Version: 1.0

Description: It is a portal minimod map for Half life 2 Garry's Mod. Play Portal before it comes out! This unique blend of 30 portal challenges is sure to astound and amaze.

Requirements:
- Gmod 9
- A version of the Portal or Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device SWEP
+ + danidomen's new portal model
- The Portal Cube model
- The Portal Turret
- Or the Portal Pack

Download: http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/view/dl/1026/
Download Package(comes with everything you need except Gmod 9): http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/view/dl/1031/
Odd, Garrysmod.org doesn't seem to be working. Here are three alternate links to the package:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GGRU2EDU
http://halflife2.filefront.com/file/HalfLife_2_Garrys_Mod_Portal_MiniMod;68277
http://files.filefront.com/1031+gm+portal+challenge+packagezip/;5496524;/fileinfo.html

To install:
1. Extract the .bsp file (gm_portal_challenge) to your Garry's Mod maps folder
For example: C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\gmod9\maps
2. Ensure you have the required files (included in the Package - should be fairly obvious where they go (stuff in materials go into the gmod9\materials folder, stuff in models\ go into the gmod9\models folder (For example, there is a sub-folder in one of the rar files called models\portal. Copy the entire portal folder into gmod9\models folder)))

This is a Garry's Mod Portal map inspired by Valve's upcomming Portal game. (Preview of the game can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWzmL05OlYA ) It uses the Aperature Science Handheld Portal SWEP.

Full credits go to the people who made the SWEP:
Jinto
DaApocalypse
Jonheat
Lazermaniac

Welcome to the Aperture Science Enrichment Center. Let's look at some of the challenges you'll face as a test participant:
You may be required to perform simple tasks, such as locating an exit. These simple tasks may be supplimented with insurmountable obstacles.

Thanks to the Aperature Science Handheld Portal Device, the impossible is easy.

Let's look at a real-world example:

Certain objects may be vital to your success. If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated. When stuck, remember our motto: "There's a hole in the sky, through which things can fly"

At the Enrichment Center, we believe that a highly motivated test subject can carry out rather complex tasks while enduring the most intense pain.

So in case you don't make it through the testing, goodbye!

This unique blend of 30 challenges is sure to astound and amaze. From the stupidly easy to the insanely hard, this map is sure to bring half-hours of enjoyment. Completed all the challenges? Try them again! Try doing them in reverse! Try doing them without loosing any health or dying!

Notes:
- You spawn with no weapons. In order to pick up a portal gun, press the button in front of you when you spawn. (You do not need any other gun than the Aperature Science Handheld Portal Device)
- In order to proceed to the next level you must find the exit (marked with signs)
- It is possible to do each challenge
- It is possible to do each challenge without loosing any health
- There is more than one way to do each challenge
- While items may be transported from challenge to challenge, it is not necessary

Bugs:
- Unfortunately, The Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device SWEP will teleport any dynamic object. That extends to doors, rotating machine parts, and buttons. This is completely unintentional and unavoidable until an update is made to the SWEP, and care should be taken to avoid doing this in order to experience the map as it was intended. (However, it can be kind of fun to 'break' the map)
- While it is possible to use any version of the Aperature Science Handheld Portal Device SWEP, Tetabonita's version can occassionally crash the game when teleporting Portal Cube's at rest. (It is not included in the package for this reason)

Enjoy!

P.S. For another Portal map that looks awesome and has source code avaliable, check out Spike's exclusive Aperature Science Labs release!!

Stuck? Can't seem to finish a challenge? While not complete, Dudeman999 has a good walkthrough posted here: http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/showthread.php?p=2709404#post2709404

Hmphf. Garrysmod.org seems to be down, which is why the links aren't working.

So I added another three links.

Enjoy!
