some please set me up some confir and user that i can use my mouse to move and shoot and a good rocket jump and fast reload with f1 to change teams and f2 to change classs and i can repone when i die because when i die i dont respone i have to go to console and type -reload
before i respone i dont want much, Smile

I'm looking at the stuff you posted in the other thread...until then, get rid of any reload script you have. That's what's causing your respawn problem.

ok ghost i've gone through... this will *hopefully* work. i tried not to move around any of the keys you are currently using. different systems with different lag will work different ways... hopefully this will work for you.

#1 - do not mess with your config.cfg!

first, clear out everything in your autoexec.cfg

then put this in your autoexec.cfg:

your config file is fine. don't mess with it. you should never mess with that file, always leave it as is. the only files you should ever mess with are userconfig.cfg and autoexec.cfg

well i could understand the fps if he doesnt have a great card so you wont notice the drops as much by lowering the fps_max. but the rates do seem low. ghost what is your connection? what is your dl and ul?

i fast dsl bellsouth 512 kbits/sec i dont know what
di and ur but that cfg was all so download with
the other fi;es from tfc site everything was already made up i just took all mine out and put them in place of mne,they said all of the files would work
but as you see none of them work right i still lose
my key bord setup evety time i start a game,i did change my fps to 60 becaue i dont know how hight i can set them an i thought the game was too dark

i never understood what rates i needed call me a noob but i never really messed with console commands that much, but

from tigger's site i got:
Download Speed: 1122 kbps (140.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 360 kbps (45 KB/sec transfer rate)

what should my rates be?

those rates are fine. upload is normally only important if you running a server. download is more important for you actually playing on a server. rates over 1mb/s are more than enough.

Last Result:
Download Speed: 26687 kbps (3335.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 10960 kbps (1370 KB/sec transfer rate)
