Welcome to the future, gentlemen.

Computers are getting that much better, and more expensive.
64x AA, that's a lot!
I wonder if this will replace reality as we know it...

Hey, you think that the Vatican will fight against them, since they named it "God"?
What's next, "Buddha"?

Just one question..... Where do I plug it in at?

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but most of my computer knowledge comes back from the days of SIMMS and IRQ numbers.

As if PC gaming wasn't expensive enough, Nvidia have unveiled a graphics card that will be known to shooter fans simply as 'God'. The $18K Quadro Plex 1000. How's your e-penis now?

ROTFL

anyway... this could only possibly be useful if your running some very extreme graphics company. it'd take multiple top of the line computers to run this at a decent rate.

You mean Shoulder?

But this ISN'T a gaming vid-card.
It's a artistic graphics card.
IT ISN'T FOR GAMING!
It's for computer animation, like what Pixar does.

So, if you get this, and you game, you may be disappointed.
Just keep saving all that dough for Quad-Quad SLI with 186-Core CPU's.
Trust me, it's inevitable.

THere's more info on NVidia's Website.
There's 3 models.

Unfortunately, being a computer animator myself; this is the kind of thing I'd end up using at my workspace or at home.

Oh, and he doesn't mean shoulder, he means solder. Google it, it's a form of attachment for very dense materials, mostly metals (ie: soldering two pieces of metal together, or soldering a chip onto a motherboard of some sort).

It'll probably require PCI Express 128x or some other bus with insane bandwidth.

Damn..........I agree though...the system(s) required to use this to its full potential will also put a dent in your wallet.

OH!
lol

I've heard the word, and I know what it means,
I just never seen it spelled before.

hehehe

And another reason it's so expensive, is because it is actually 2 workstation cards, on a custom board, meaning it is special, not like the usual mobo.

interesting.
