I do that
it helps with the awkward steps, like from the side to the back, with some tricky beats.
Think of them like make-shift legs.
Down here in CA, we have some MAJOR competitions.
Some dude actually started break-dancing on the pad
And still got a Perfect!
I'm talking his feet never touched the pad.
Too bad he wasn't an actual contestant.
We actually had a guy with one leg go into a competition
Read about it in the newspaper (what? a kid can't read the newspaper?)
He had one crutch with him, and made it to like 7/50
7th place!
didn't win, but he got an honorable mention, so he went away with some cash also.
COOL!!!!!!  |

Yah. I've seen clips of a bunch of people actually doing something else with DDR. That's gotta be some mad practicing though to breakdance and still get a perfect. The craziest clip that I remember is this one where the guy's dancing to that jungle song. Can't remember what it's called!!!  |
