Has anyone had a problem where msn dosent alert you to new e-mails in the tray popup and the counter doesn't go up when you receive one. It still alerts me when people come online and plays sound and I've check all the boxes needed. I've also repaired and reinstalled, but can't seem to fix the problem. I've checked the msn problem site but to no avail... any help would be much appreciated, thanx Smile

I've never noticed it, although my e-mail for msn isn't a hotmail account.....but I've had it where it says that it's encountered a problem and must close many times(as bad as 4 in a 10 minute period), and so has my friend.

That used to happen to me when I had MSN and dialup a while back. I just dealt with it, but once we got rid of dialup (PRAISE THE LORD), we started using IE again and I just said eff that and have used Avant for like 2 years now.

Hmm it seems to have sorted its self out now. It wasn't a major problem, just really irritating, I hate having to load up the web page to check my e-mail every five mins.
Thanks for your input Smile
