Hey guys, I was in the server yesterday, and Fjorn used a command to add the CfH tag to my name. My question is, do I need to remove it or am I in the guild? Most everyone in the guild knows me anyway, and if I could keep it on, that would be pretty bad ass.

if fjorn tagged then ur in the guild...congrats Good Idea

and ya dont have to wear it if ya want...just that there might be a angry mob after ya later lol Razz

If you get tagged, you have to freeze.
At least in freeze tag you do.

When I was tagged, Chips had my name turned to IMPOSTER, and I thought I was being punished.

That's cause I had just loaded the steam id's into the plug-in...but hadn't activated it on the server. Had you fixed up in 30 seconds. Good Idea

For those of you who don't know...we use a serve plug-in to monitor who can and can't wear our tag. If you're not authorized and you put it on...you name is changed to IMPOSTER.

Now that I'm in...is there any way I can play in STA matches? Even if I'm just a backup. I have been in STA Gold clans, and not to toot my own horn, but I am pretty good on both O and D. If there's any way I could maybe play at least one round for month...that'd be awesome :-)

Some kid named monster-something was on yesterday and tried to steel the tag. He put -[CFH]- and your imposter plugin didnot catch it because it was not -[CfH]- (difference between "F" and "f"). When I exec him and removed the tag, he whined, over the mic, and you can just imagine what a 6 year old whining over the mic sounds like. I disscussed this with another admin and it was decided (and I believe all members on at the time agreed and participated) to give monster the silent treatment by muting him. There were no more problems after that.

However, Chips, can you add a tag with a capital "F" to the list in the imposter plugin?

the plugin should still catch it - the plug-in has problems where it doesn't work on all maps. I know i've played multiple rounds under the name 'Player' which is supposed to be changed to 'Slayed for my name' then after 5 maps it starts working and i get slayed and changed...
I don't know whats wrong with the plug-in, but as long as we have active admins, like you did spiderman, then we are ok.

The plug-in wouldn't catch that...it IS case sensitive. I've added a few variations of our tag that will change a players name to IMPOSTER. Like most things with this mod that hasn't been updated in years...stuff works 99% of the time. We gotta take what we can get.
