That's not even to mention his cheap zoom scripts and yes, his apparent chop-hopping. Bhopping is allowed...chop-hopping is not. |
Alright...what's the difference between Chop-Hopping, and Bunny-Hopping? I've heard conflicting accounts on the subject, so it's still unclear to me. I believe that both can be accomplished manually, but are most often done through scripts. If it's done by hand, is it then legal? |

chop hopping cannot be done by hand I think it would be impossible for someone to hit the crouch key that many times.
chop hop is like bhop except there are some things different
1.chop hop allows you to maintain a speed Way above the hl cap so if you were to conc and reach 200% speed you could hop with that and just zoom past everyone.
2. how its preformed is, during your regular bhopping a script hits crouch for like an infinite times so its like you really never hit the ground, thus not being slowed by the hl cap. |

with the amount of times you have to press crouch technically not, It would have to be Many many times per second. I'll find out how many scripts ususally do it but I have school right now |

For manual bhop I used to tap jump as much as I could. Now I've got my timing down and can pretty much tap jump once per hop.
I've been trying to tap jump and crouch at the same time really fast...and can actually manage a chop hop or two, but I miss a chop at least every other or every third hop.
It is possible, I was doing it on the server during dustbowl the other night. Some of you noticed me doing it and I chatted immeadiately that I was trying manual chop hop.
I'm sure it didn't look as good as munchez diong it in the demo cuz he was using a chopping script and I was doing it manually.
Just go crazy and tap jump and crouch together really fast while moving forward. You'll see. |

well just to make things a bit more clear you can hold your speed well over 200% but it goes down slowly. And the ducks arnt really infonent just really fast. And you can manually chop just not half as efficient. And i remember a leag considering it chop-hop if you have +duck bound to mouse wheel because its a click not a tap. But if you had a script bound to a key with 3 +ducks in it, was not considerd chopping. |

If you bind mousewheel to duck and bhop with spacebar instead of mousewheel its fairly easy to chop hop i would love to show you an example of a legit chophop.
EDIT i would probably need a simple +jump +wait script sense i am used to mousewheel. |
