What does it mean when you try and play a game and a box comes up on your monitor saying "Input Signal Out of Range"? Some times the screen goes blank. Others the box just stays on top of the image.
It has happened for two of my games now, and one of them used to work fine Sad

Is your computer on a wireless network by chance Question

Even if you did and you were out of range of your router...I doubt you'd get that message. But I could be wrong. Shocked

No, its not on a wireless. These games don't even use the net Sad I suppose it coulld be something to do with using a flat screen monitor, but Combat Mission used to work after I change to a flatscreen for a little while. I might reinstall my graphics drivers.

It might be the difference between the games resolution and your monitors resolution...ie 1024 X 768 Question

Many of todays flat panels run is higher or unorthodox resolutions compared to CRT's. Surprised

input signal out of range means that your refresh rate for you video adapter is too high or low for your monitor. Try setting it to opitmal or 70 hertz.

Yeah your right fu. I had a play about with the refresh rate, and the message came up on my desktop. I think its just a case of having a tinker with it Smile
