I was on the server just now, and I got dropped a couple of times in a row...
I got a message each time saying... 'Client Dropped by server' anyone know whats going on? |

even if you restart steam it will still happen, it happens to me all the time.  |

How long has this been happening?
If it's something recent...describe what map and what's going on when it happens. If it's a dustbowl style map...we've been experienceing mass kicks for some time now. More than likely one of the mods or plug-ins used on the server.
Give some more specifics if you can. |

| saw the same thing last week, contributed it to leaving steam logged on too long. Restarting steam does fix it for me. |

I think it was Rasen. First I tried to connect and it just crashed out to the menu page and said client dropped by server. I rejoined and it just crashed to windows 2 mins later. So I rejoined a 3rd time played for a bit, I remember getting 3 nade kills at once and the same thing happened again.... Client dropped by server. It has happend before occasionally, but not three times in a row like that. Its been ok since. I think this was Thursday.
Edit. It does seem to be when a lot is going on i.e. lots of deaths and explosions, at first I just put it to my graphics card not coping, but I dont think its that. Sorry I can't be more specific... |

| It could very well be one of the recent steam updates. For the first time EVER...my TFC crashed to my desktop the other day. That had never happened to me before. It too, seems okay now. Let's hope we've seen the last of this. |

mY DoD:S won't load, it wipes the screen to draw everything it needs, but that flickers a few times, then it sometimes makes the beeping sound like you've added an external device(you know, that thing that's in your start ber(on the right) that says safely remove hardware, that beeps whenever you connect a usb device or remove it) then it crashes to the desktop. If any of you guys could research it for me that'd be great, since I can't make an account on the steam forums. (also(sorry for all this) but JKA crashes and tells me there's an error with the OpenGL(it has a nifty little consol) although my vid card might need a driver update)
P.S. if this post looks like crap it's because my hands are shaking violently because I'm sick |

| it happens to me on any map at any time. sometimes a couple times on the same map. it even happens to me on different servers. it gets frustratin sometimes. |
