Well...we did have a "Christmas" rotation last year that will be making a comeback. It basically featured all the maps with snow on them..xmas2fort, xmaswell3 (actual falling snow), vidars2, security_r...etc.

And we will have prezzies with the "Merry Christmas" anouncement every now and then...that's actually a feature of Foxbots.

I've never seen anything like what you described for adminmod...what we run here. They must be using another mod like AMX or AMXX...or something.

Hey Chips, where do you get your maps from? I recently went looking for the old maps page on fileplanet, but it seems JCM's is gone. I've got about 700 of them that I've accumulated over the years. I really want to check out a couple I saw you list, but I'm not sure when they'll pop up(and I never remember them when voting starts).

Straight up ive played in that server and yes it totly sucks i think CfH was 100x better that that server

I'm what could be considered a "map whore". I'll try pretty much any map once. I'm still working on indexing the maps I have, meaning, taking a screenshot of the "main area", and printing them out...along with a self-given rating based on how much I like it.

As for server's rules...I pretty much follow the rules of whichever server I'm on. I do like to taunt the enemy team though. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. *Shrug*
Nothing personal....just some stuff that might throw them off of their game.

The only issue I could raise about them, though, is the language rule. I don't see the point, for 2 reasons: #1 - the game is rated M, for Mature...kids shouldn't be playing it. #2 - Kids use bad language all the time. They just tend not to around their parents.

Don't misunderstand me....it doesn't mean I'm going to break the rule(unless it's by accident)...but I don't necessarilly agree with it.

Anyway.... see you guys on the server.

It's really only the "big" ones that are enforced. I say damnit constantly. If I used my mic, I'd be apologizing for slip-ups a lot. While swearing never bothers me, at certain levels it can get out of hand. CS pub style- "what the f**k you f**king f***t" just isn't neccesary or fun.

Oh, and during the christmas rotation, make the voting percentage for a non-rotation map more lenient please. Like only 2 of those maps are fun.

I don't recall ever using the F-bomb in a taunt.....so I should be fine there. Besides, I have a bunch of them binded. Very Happy

As for the getting out of hand, thing. Yeah, I see what you mean by that....but that's more of an idiot problem, rather than with the actual word. Boot the idiot, and game on!
