| i'm in a class to become A+ certified, and im stumped at remembering IRQs and DMAs. anyone know an easy way to remember them? |

I remember the COM port by using a sports playoff format . . .
COM 1 plays IRQ4
COM 2 plays IRQ3
That's all I remember off the top.
I study by making flash cards out of index cards, usually I know the material by the time I write them out, but reinforce by carrying them around for "down" time.
I'm a CNE, MCSE, CCNA, CCDA, Cisco Wireless Field Engineer, HP Storage Cert, etc. I know a thing or two about studying. Target's a techie, too and can probably help you . . . |

flash cards is what im going with now. a few other friends told me to write it down a hundred times helps alot as well.
hey chips, do you think we should start a section for homework help? Since alot of people are on the forums, it would make sense to help them keep there grades up to prevent parents from restricting them from the internet. |
