| Hit the "Profile" button up at the top of the page. This is where you can change things in your forums profile. Go to the Avatar control panel near the bottom of that page. You can then "upload" an avitar from your own computer (if it's 80 X 80 pixels and no bigger than 6kb) OR...pick an avitar from the HUGE selection that's already built into the forums. There are about 600 that you can choose from. |

| You can reduce their size using any number of programs...including MS Paint. Did you look at the very large selection available here on the forums? There's over 600 to choose from...you may very well find one that you like. |

Download one you like, open it in MS Paint and click IMAGE > STRETCH/SKEW. Then manipulate it. Go to IMAGE > ATTRIBUTES to check the Pixel size until you get 80 x 80 and 6,000 bytes or less.
