Heres my list of , umm, what I like and think is good er whats in my CD case, and I Play guitar so alot of it is guitar driven. Your right about Metallica kinda suckin now. I met those guys in a club years ago and thought I liked em but umm, they just got worse and worse after master of puppets. So lets go with these for your daily dose of metal. This stuff makes for great tfc music, you get a good flow going.
Fear Factory
Amon Amarth
Killswitch engage
Heaven Shall Burn
Diecast
Shadowsfall
Lamb of God
Meshuggah
Chimaira
Children of Bodom
Deftones
Revellie
Soil
Yea I know kinda heavy |

sweet I am gladsomeone else has heard of Diecast besides me. I have to say that my favorite album has to be Undo The Wicked. I actually found out that this guy I knew growing up in my neighborhood now sings for them. If you want to hear metal made the way it should be then check em out. just masterfully put together. |

You need to hear Heaven Shall Burn, The Anti-gone CD. It is pure hard metal bliss and one of my personal new favs. |

That bind I have
"Death be not prompt, though some have called the mighty and dreadfull, thou art not so"
Is from C.O.B. Follow the reaper CD, its the first thing you hear when you put that CD on. |

Killswitch engage is my all around favorite, talkin about metal done right. From a guitar players stand point the music is incredible,
I love drop C tuning and these guys do it right. Sadly they are often bumped in to the "nu-metal" catagory but thats ok with me as its not my fault half this country and its guitar players are still stuck in the 80's and 90's trying to rip off Page, Hendrix, and Via licks. many in the 2000's decided it was time to move on to a heavyer sound, a sound for the new millinium and to them my hat and my heart goes out. These bands where already there in place but where not accepted until that change took place. They didnt just "pop-up" out of the blue. They where lying in wait for society to deem for them the right time to emerge. As a whole we may even have Slipknot and Korn to thanks for this, even though their time is passing now as well. They simple opened another door in metals dark history.
Ohh yea and Fred durst of Limp Bizkit even did his part in some sick rediculas way. He can go die now, his work is done here. rotf
rock the fug on!
if you truely like metal get
Killswitch Engage: Alive or just breathing
Killswitch Engage: End of heartache |
