its approx 945 e.t. on sat, dec 11th, 2004... this guy, The Rooster must be using some type of snipe cheat. I did a first person follow on him, and his dot was goin to heads that werent aimed at. second, he didnt have enuff time to charge his rifle to get a kill. id say 85% of all his shots were headshots... im not here to cry, i just dont think its cool to let him cheat and the other kid that was snipe'n gettin his butt mopped all over the floor.

fair play i suppose...

Perhaps...as the server grows in popularity...we're gonna see more of this. I banned a player for "aimbot" last night. Kyubi (who was playing under an alias and I didn't know it was him...grrr... Evil or Very Mad

) picked him off and alerted me to him. He'd stand out in the open on 2fort with his rifle pointed down at the water...as soon as someone popped out, he'd raise his rifle and hit them instantly...UNZOOMED. Shocked

It was shortly after that the rooster came on...I played several maps with him very early this morning...even 2fortsniper. He's very good...but he's hittable and we didn't notice too many head shots. No one on at the time (there were about 10 of us) complained. He moves very well...and keeps changing positions.

I reviewed the logs from this morning at the time you mentioned. His score was 11/3 when Frank_the_Stank started complaining about him...a little early in my opinion. Typical of aimbot would be A LOT of headshots...he had very few compared to his overall kills and the vast majority of them (headshots) were against the bots. Most cheaters don't defend themselves...he did by explaining how he got someone...ie "you're always in the same place" or "I see your dot on the wall, you have to be out in the open".

Chicken god came on and asked to be sniper...he gracefully gave up the spot. He didn't seem to get you too often..although he did get you. Also, when spec'ing a player in first person...the dot will appear to jump around ...it doesn't exactly follow the rifle barrel very quickly.

I don't believe he hax...but we'll keep an eye on him.

Yeah I saw this one guy...I swear he hax...he owned chips so many times with the sniper...musta been hax to the max...his name was like...cOW mOO or something... Laughing

ok coool... just the way he responded to some questions raised MY eyebrows... but now i know what to look for...

been on the server loads of times whilst the rooster was sniping. he's nothing but a darned fine shot. and like chip said, he displaces well. a lil sne-ke-er than i like em, lol. but not a cheater.
